Experience

For more than six years I have worked in drawing, illustration, and mixed media, with photography and music running alongside. My pieces have been shown and recognized in local and state competitions. Mixed media holds my attention now, because the collision of materials does something no single one can do on its own. Technology is about to change how people encounter art, and I would rather work inside that shift than react to it.

Every piece starts with a plan and then reinvents itself. I follow the materials, and what I end up with is rarely what I set out to make. The making matters as much to me as the finished work.
